This little bat is what our cat Eevee brought in last night. I was already in bed when I heard Eevee making his special noise he makes when he catches something. Could be a bug, a lizard, or even a toy. When I got up to check on him I saw him carrying around something that looked like an old catnip bag he used to have. But when he dropped it, didn't know what that little tuff of fur was. Then it moved. A bat! It must have gotten into our lanai where an overhead screen has opened up a bit. Eevee caught it out there. The little bat is only about two inches long when curled up. I picked him up with a hand towel and after a few minutes he was over his shock and ready to go. We took some pictures and then I took him outside and watched him fly off.
